Outreach Project $300 donation of Art Supplies to Hackleburg Elementary School

The BAA Board voted in May to use $300 of our funds to provide art supplies to a school damaged by the April tornadoes.  Wendy Allison agreed to direct the use of those funds.  She decided upon Hackleburg Elementary School as it was completely destroyed by the tornadoes, and is in a poorer part of our state.  Wendy called the principal, and told her we would like to provide $300 in art supplies for their art teacher to use.  The principal dropped a bit of a bombshell, when she told Wendy their school had no art teacher, nor art program.  Wendy told her we would come up with a way to practically provide art for her students.  After brainstorming with several BAA members, and some elementary art teaching friends.  Wendy came up with the "Van Gogh Sunflower Project".
